Fate weaved their love story in a truly incredible way: during a party, where Joe was literally enraptured by Susan’s fuchsia Manolo Blahniks. From that moment, love defied cultural differences, culminating in a celebration that united their origins in an atmosphere of elegance and warmth.

With the help of All About Marriage, their dream of getting married in an Italian castle came to life, thanks to the perfect synergy with excellent partners.

A Symbolic Rite Steeped in Emotion

A backdrop of coloured flowers and twinkling lights reminiscent of traditional Calabrian village festivals formed the backdrop for Joe and Susan’s symbolic ceremony, held in front of the little church in the Castello di Serragiumenta.

It was an emotionally charged moment, enveloped in a magical atmosphere, steeped in scents and colours, making this moment extraordinary. The exchange of the wedding rings, carried by an adorable donkey festively decorated, added a touch of poetry to the ceremony.

The Castello di Serragiumenta, in Altomonte, was the fascinating stage for Susan and Joe’s wedding. The bride and the groom passionately chose this venue, aiming for an elegant wedding infused with Calabrian tradition.

An ensemble of colourful flowers, traditional lighting and refined details created an enchanting atmosphere that combined the opulence of the past with the sophistication of the present.

The Details

Three Days of Celebration and Fun

A riot of colours, flavours and Calabrian traditions characterised the three days of celebrations for Susan and Joe’s wedding. Three days of tradition and fun.

The dinner among the vineyards, with popular music, accordions and typical dishes, opened the dancing. On the wedding day, an explosion of colours and lights framed the ceremony, followed by a party inside an elegant marquee, enlivened by folk songs, tarantella and bespoke pizzas. A ‘Farewell Brunch’ by the pool was the sweet ending to this unforgettable Calabrian experience.
